Definitely worth the investment if you have an all region DVD or Blu-ray player. And I don\’t mean the Guinness commercials! It is so accurate you could well believe it is a true life documentary.

As a Welshman living in the USA, it is a perfect reminder of what it is like \’back home\’. I can and I am sure all Welshmen abroad will relate to every word spoken and every frame flicking by. Heck it even made me homesick at one point!! Would love to see them make a sequel! Love the movie, doesn\’t have nearly enough credit that it is due, don\’t purchase if you are from US because the players will region lock the disc making it unable to play, but it works on my PC so it doesn\’t bother me.

You have to appreciate British black humor to enjoy this film, but I do and I did! You\’re denying many US citizens the pleasure of viewing this hysterical movie! One of the best films. I took a woman out to this movie on our 1st date. I laughed throughout the movie. She was shocked and figured I was a sicko. Maybe I am, but the film is damn funny. Wrong country code. Co-produced by Danny Boyle, this is a great film about revenge! It has a good story, good acting, good direction, good music and manages to be both dark and very funny at the same time, which you rarely see. What more do you want from a film?

Especially if you\’re British.

Probably more of a bloke\’s film, but still fun for everyone. The story is brilliant, and so accurately welsh. Every minor detail adds to the whole experience. The film progresses like a serious drama and seems to come out with brilliant comedy without even trying.

As well as the actual storyline being funny, little quirks about each character and even the attention to welsh detail makes you laugh. Not only is it well written, it\’s also beautifully filmed, and makes great use of the camera.

The film encompasses a huge range of interesting shots. Enhancing the film further was it\’s great choice of cast. All the characters were perfectly conveyed, and film avoided any bad performances.

The music is also something to listen out for, as it stands out as a good piece of work on it\’s own.

It shows the grittier side of Swansea, a lot of bad language, and is not for the easily offended. It gets better with every viewing. A very, very underrated and clever film. The DVD is very sparse and has no bonus features, not even the trailer or optional subtitles to also help those not accustom to the Swansea dialect.
